Community Genome Annotation - Panda

Panda (Prokaryotic genome ANnotation, Discovery and Analysis) is a community annotation tool designed to facilitate curated annotation of a genome. Panda is a secure, web-based application enabling multiple researchers in remote locations to contribute to genome annotation tasks. Annotators can utilize genome visualization features, annotation predictions generated by a sequence analysis pipeline, and various other features such as an integrated BLAST tool, to assist in the annotation process. A designated curator will approve updates by each annotator before the changes are committed to the database.

Following is a list of currently available Panda community annotation tools. Researchers are welcome to submit updated genome annotations using these tools. To request access, please contact:
